The issue requested to be fixed was not fixed. The engine has from time to time started revving up unexpectedly for 3-4 seconds before correcting itself. The RPMs run up about 1000 to 1500 from the previous RPM level. It happened when my son was driving back to Raleigh from Boone. I was told by an employee that the evap system was faulty and causing the gas mixture to become too rich causing the problem. Sounded logical.

I was charged for an oil change when I am supposed to get 3 free a year for 3 years according to the maintenance plan I paid for. Why is that not attached to my account? I bought other warranty options as well so how will I know if I am getting those if nothing is attached to my account when I go pay? Why is it my responsibility to keep up with what should be warranty and what I should pay for? I’m not happy with that but the service I received on my vehicle was good. I just don’t think it should be my responsibility to keep up with warranty information if I am taking my vehicle to the dealership I purchased it from.

I arrived at 9:45 for a 10 AM service visit to program a new key Fob. I was there until 1:30 PM and they still could not program the fob properly. I have to reschedule to get it competed. The last service visit to 6 hours to install a new fuel pump. It was the same service tech, she does not know what she is doing.

High pricing including parts well above MSRP directly from Chevy parts, didn't peel off the old sticker just squeezed this one in beside it, put next oil change at 10,000 miles out when the owners manual intervals state 7,500. If you want to charge premium prices then maybe the dealership itself should be in better shape and not rundown and dilapidated. Won't be back and likely will not use any Chevrolet dealership for services

Wrong diagnosis and over charged. Let me explain.... Came in for shaking of steering wheel at highway speed and loud noise from tires. Dealer Diagnosis - Upper control arms $1400 + alignment +etc. My friend (who is an amateur mechanic) said that is ridiculous we can do that in the driveway in a few hours. We did that and found the control arms to be fine. It was the tie rod ends that were super loose and boots breaking. Replaced those (and the control arms too). Once we had alignment the problem persisted. That's when a professional mechanic said - your tires are cupped. That why it is so loud and what is causing the shaking. So tires fixed the problem. So the correct diagnosis would have been tie rod ends + tires. The dealer could have sold me both, but instead gave me a false diagnosis (probably didn't drive it) and jacked up the price. Do you think I will go back there or recommend to a friend?

On a recent visit to Elevation Chevrolet in Boone, NC, I brought in my Silverado due to early signs of transmission shudder—an issue widely reported among owners of Silverado trucks equipped with the 8-speed transmission. The dealership performed a transmission fluid exchange; however, the machine malfunctioned and spewed fluid during the process. Critically, I was later informed that the technician shorted the fluid exchange by 5 quarts, leaving my transmission severely underfilled. This resulted in significantly worsened shuddering and slipping, making the truck nearly undrivable.

The issue that I took the day off to deal with was with my air conditioning. I told the person on the phone about the issue. Problem is nobody consulted with a certified tech. He looked at it the problem and immediately informed service that he would need to keep the vehicle perhaps over night to recreate the problem and that basically my appointment was a waste of time. This was known ahead of time and anyone familiar with these type issues would have informed me that to begin with and saved me the out of pocket expenses I incurred to get there. I did get them to fix an annoying TPMS sensor so I guess that was good... waited for quite a while with truck just sitting in service bay. Even the other service person was like.. "your still here?" yeah for a tpms sensor. They knew in the first 15 min that the appt for the AC was not happening. I informed service that it would be extremely hard for me to leave the truck for a day as I live in Tennessee and only have one vehicle, I run a business and rely on my truck. Also I made clear that I am trying to get this fixed before my rapidly approaching 36k warranty is over. (less than 300 miles left). I was told that she had to check with someone but could work something out for a rental car from the company you work with. I was told and I confirmed that I would be getting a call to set something up just as soon as she talked to her manager or whomever. No phone call ever placed. No appointment made. I mean everyone was nice and everything but I cant help but thinking that maybe somehow I could have been told over the phone that the proper practice for a tech would be having to keep the vehicle long enough to re create the problem before he could diagnose. Now I am no further ahead with my problem, I am extremely busy, live by myself with one vehicle, and my warranty for a potentially very expensive problem looming right around the corner. Please help.

Susan was excellent to work with. She took care of our rental while our car was in the shop. This helped us to enjoy our vacation. Only issue, the car quit running 100 miles from the resort on our way home. Ended up being towed to Cincinnati. Cost out of pocket was $841.50. Car has been at dealership since June 21st. We have been now towed 7 times. 2 batteries, 4 computer modular. It has been very frustrating to say the least.

In short with very vague and dismissive communication from the staff, 3 weeks later we got our car back with only the wiring harness disconnected and reconnected which did fix the issue. With this said. Everyone was very friendly and the price was wonderful. We would come back if the issues with communication and efficiency can be rectified.

Then the next week it was me calling them only to be told they would call the next day for an update but they never called. Week 3 I talked to the General Manager of sales and finally my car was fixed. They would probably still have it if it wasn’t for me talking to him. Christine (sp) and team took great care of me while I was out of town and having engine trouble. My diesel wouldn’t start due to extremely cold temps on 1/27. Had the block heater plugged in and let the glow plugs run before starting, but still threw a code and wouldn’t run until temps got above 20 degrees. Luckily I was able to drive it down to the shop from Banner Elk without a tow. Elevation was gracious enough to run diagnostics and have a technician look at the issue same day. They determined the diesel had slightly gelled. They cleared the code and talked me on to an anti-gel additive I could use when temps get well below freezing. I added some Howes anti-gel from the local Advance Auto right after I left and it cranked like a champ on 1/28 when air temps were just as cold as the day prior. I was able to make it back to Raleigh without delay because the Elevation team truly cared about my situation (the shop was full); potentially being stranded out of town for multiple days without a vehicle and 3 young children. Thanks so much!!

Never informed me that this was what they were doing, never asked if I had the time or offered to reschedule another time. 2 hours and 15 minutes later I was out of there for the last time.

I made the appointment and asked specifically if they have somebody who works on EVs who is going to be in that day. They said yes emphatically. I got there and it turns out that they did not have anyone there who worked on EVs that day. This was very disappointing as this is the second time this has happened. I had a tire rotation done because I was due for it and it was more than twice as expensive as a previous service there. So that was also disappointing. I asked for a discounted tire rotation because I had driven an hour up from Lenoir to get my car looked at and they did not have anyone to even look at my car. They refused saying that I would need to speak with the manager, who was also not there. They did offer to keep it for an indeterminant amount of time until they could get someone to look at it, but did not have a loaner vehicle so that was really not an option. I did get a couple of good cookies, so that was nice, but I would have preferred my propulsion system error be checked out.

My engine light was on, engine knocking, and low acceleration and was advised to go to the dealer. They did not have an appointment for two weeks. After waiting two weeks, they didn't start on my car until two days after my appointment. They replaced items and got the car back. Two days later, all the symptoms returned. Impossible to get anyone in the service department on the phone. Brought in car for appointment and was told they were 2 days behind on work and my car likely wouldn’t be worked on til the following day. I explained that I only had one car available and asked if I could take it and bring it back when they were available to work on it and I was told that wasn’t a possibility. Every time I called for updates, I was transferred and put on hold for 10+ minutes. No one ever called back, I had to go to the dealership to talk to them for updates.

I recently purchased a 2026 Trax Active off Nick at the dealership. Everything went smoothly with no problems. After about 3 weeks I was coming home and the check engine light comes on (not even 250 miles on it), so I call Onstar and they do a diagnostic and tell me its a fuel issue and that I need to take it to the dealership to get fixed. So I call Nick & at first I don't think he remembered who I was so I reminded him, all he said was "How can I help"? I told him about the check engine light and all he said was let me transfer you to service. It kind of suprised me cause I've purchased 3 new Tahoes over the years and anytime I had any concerns they were always ready to help and went out of their way to help out, I guess things change over the years. So after about 10 minutes of being on hold I hung up and made an appointment on the MyChevy app. It was a tuesday and the next appointment time wasn't until Friday at 10AM. So I get there that morning and I spoke with Carlos who was very nice and welcoming, said that they would hopefully get to it that afternoon and was nice enough to have one of their employees drive me home. I didn't hear anything so I called Carlos beginning of the week and he said they found a code and since the car had very few miles on it they sent the report to GM and were waiting to hear back, I asked about a loaner car and was told there were non available cause all had been loaned out. So finally I get a call on that Friday that they had figured the Issue and it had to have the engine control module reprogrammed which is what GM had said was the issue which I had read online, Carlos said they had the car in the bay and were fixing at that moment. He called about an hour later and was ready for pickup. I went Saturday morning and picked it up and it is now Thursday and so far no issues. I'm taking it out of town this Saturday and I'm hoping and praying that nothing goes wrong with it! I am by no means talking bad about Carlos and the service Dept cause I know they have bunches of cars to get fixed and I guess maybe I got lucky it was a week and maybe could have been longer. It's really disappointing that you buy a brand new car and already has an issue, now I have to build the confidence back up in the car and hope that it's just one of those things and that maybe it's good it happened when it did when I could have been out of town. I still have not got the registration nor the title and I was told it would take about 2 weeks to get. I worked retail for 30 years and I get how things work and when your busy there is only so much you can do, I'm not writing this to talk bad about the dealership but if something goes wrong again will I have to wait another week or maybe longer for a fix? That is the anxiety I am going through now and when I drive the car I can't help but worry that something else will go wrong. But it seems to be fine now and I hope and pray that It stays that way! Poor service management. My vehicle had an appointment but never got in the shop for over a week and still hasn’t been fixed. So we took it somewhere else. We have been very patient but got very tired of nothing being done.

Brought truck over due to a check engine light. I would have warranty at the time. Told them to look into it and tell me what they found. The truck ended up being over there for over a month with no updates from the service advisor. Had to call them only to be given the run around. Once I called them after the truck being in shop for over a month, they said my truck was ready. Granted I was over 2 hours away, arrives at the shop thinking warranty covered the part that was defective only to find out that warranty denied the part and I ended up footing the bill. No communication was given throughout the entire process of warranty decision or anything. As a customer, last thing I would want to hear is "warranty denied, so here is the bill". My suggestion is to work on the service advising communication on what's been done or needs to be done.
